Reset Chip for CANON 108 and 115
Without this chip, your printer will always indicate that the your cartridge is empty even though it has been refilled.
CANON 108 and 115 cartridges have a chip that indicates the toner level. When the cartridge is empty, it sends this information to the printer. It is not mandatory to replace this chip when you refill, your printer will work well anyways, but the low toner alert will remain on.
